CRV 2009

Joint conference information

Kelowna, British Columbia, 25-27 May 2009

A free day of tutorials was held on Sunday May 24, 2009 in conjuction with the CRV conference. The tutorial day consisted of many short 15-30 minute presentations in areas of interest to CRV attendees. The topics are areas of importance in computer vision and robotics, and specifically on subjects presented in the following days at the conference itself.

The philosopy of the tutorial day was to cover the most basic concepts, equations, and most referenced papers in each area. The material will intended not be the speaker’s latest results, but rather the essential basics, and should be useful to new students and seasoned researchers alike.

Most of the presentation slides are up, check back in a few weeks for the videos of the talks.
